It's all over: India win by 45 runsMS Dhoni & Co. have kick-started their Asia Cup campaign with a thumping victory over Bangladesh. Rohit Sharma's exceptional batting in the face of early trouble and a blitzy cameo from Hardik Pandya helped India post a big total. Ashish Nehra ensured Bangladesh were always kept at an arm's length in chase. Sabbir Rahman offered a bit of vigil but it wasn't enough as India won by 45 runs.
Double strike for Nehra:
If Sabbir Rahman's exit right after Shakib wasn't enough to put the game beyond Bangladesh's reach, Nehra came back for his second spell and picked up two in two to push Bangladesh on a downward spiral. 100 for 7 in 16.4 overs.

Mix-up:
Oh dear! Shakib al Hasan has to walk back! He hit one straight to Rohit Sharma and set off for a run, only for Rahman to send him back after some 'yes-no' calls in the middle. Shakib slipped on his way back but may not have made his ground anyway as Rohit was quick to release his throw and Dhoni quicker to dislodge the bails. Bangladesh 73 for 4 in 12.4 overs

Ashwin strikes:
Imrul Kayes is gone! He and Sabbir Rahman put on a rescue act but the mounting asking rate was always going to pile up the pressure. Keyes played out a few dot balls against Ashwin and decided to go after him, hitting the ball straight to Yuvraj at deep square leg. Bangladesh 50 for 3 in 9.5 overs
Sarkar Goes:
Superb start from India here. Bumrah surprises Soumya Sarkar with a bit of extra bounce and the Bangladesh batsman edged the ball to Dhoni behind the stumps.Bangladesh 15 for 2 in 3.2 overs
Nehra strikes:
Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah applied good pressure in their respective first overs and the former reaped the rewards in hsi second. With the lack of runs, Mohammad Mithun went for the jugular and attempted an almighty heave, only to miss the ball completely and walk back to the dug out, bowled for 1. Bangladesh 9 for 1 in 2.2 overs.

India finish strongly:
A Rohit Sharma special (83 off 55 balls) and a blitzy knock from Hardik Pandya (31 off 17 balls) helped India recover from the early trouble they found themselves in to put on a solid total of 166 for 6, 114 of which came in the second half of the essay.
Rohit falls:
It needed a splendid catch in the deep to bring an end to Rohit Sharma's exceptional knock. He has done exceptionally well to pull India out of the early mess. He departs for 83 off 55 balls, India 158 for 5 in 19.3 overs.

Pandya Plays a Gem:
While Rohit is playing the role of rebuilding India's essay to perfection, Hardik Pandya is playing a little gem-of-an-innings here. Fifty-run stand off just 18 deliveries.

Vintage Rohit:
Rohit Sharma, you beauty! Fantastic demonstration of the importance of weathering the early storm. He releases the pressure with 18 runs off Mortaza's over to take his team past 100. India 115 for 4 in 16 overs

Yuvraj falls:
A booming slog sweep from Yuvraj's willow generally ends up in the stands, but not today! He smashed one off Shakib straight down Soumya Sarkar's throat at deep midwicket. India 97 for 4 in 14.5 overs.

FIFTY for Rohit Sharma:
Rohit Sharma brings up his 10th T20I fifty. He has been the only batsman able to play out the Bangladesh bowlers in these tricky conditions. He gets there off 42 balls and will be key for a late flourish to India's innings.

Landmark for Yuvraj:
Yuvraj Singh brings up his 1000th run in T20I internationals, fourth after Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina to do so. He and Rohit Sharma and
putting up a mini-fight here. India 76 for 3 in 12 overs.

ANOTHER WICKET:
Suresh Raina falls! The crowd go ballistic! On the green wicket, it is Mahmudullah's spin that foxes Raina. India are down to 42 for 3 in the eighth over.

GONE:
There won't be more of Kohli v Mustafizur, unfortunately. Mashrafe Mortaza has given his side a massive breakthrough here. Kohli is gone, trying to play a good length delivery on the front foot and hitting it straight to the mid-off fielder. India 22 for 2 in 4.3 overs.

Over to Suresh Raina and Rohit.

Kohli vs Mustafizur:
What a start to an intriguing battle! Kohli is clearly looking to throw the young pacer off his rhythm. But there were just three runs and few swings-and-misses to be had in his opening over. India 19 for 1 in 4 overs.

Dhawan departs:
Knocked him over! Super start from the Bangladesh quicks. First Taskin Ahmed cranked up the pace against Rohit Sharma and then Al-Amin Hossain struck in the second over, knocking back Shikhar Dhawan's off-stump. It was good length delivery that nipped back into the left-hander. Dhawan attempted an audacious drive away from his body, without any feet movement but the ball breached the bat-pad gap. India 4-1 in 1.3 overs
Dew Factor:
How much of a role with dew play in this tournament? The Indian team was earlier seen practicing with a wet ball.
